During the poetry unit we discussed:

Haiku - A three lined peom, it dosent rhyme, the first line has five sylables, the second line seven sylables and the third line five sylables.
Lymerick - A five lined peom with the first, second and fifth lines rhyming, and the third and fourth lines rhyming.
Well my name is Kandi
I have a bestfriend named Brandy
We like to hang with Sam
But neither really likes Pam
But we all like to go take a swim with Mandy

I got stopped in the hall today
By mean old Mr. Kanaday
He caught me with gum
And called my mum
At the game he wouldnt let me play
